I've always been in church, my parents both got saved before I was born, so I knew nothing about the outside world, and what it can do to you. Like most teenagers high school hit and I thought I was grown, could do what I want when I want. I got myself involved with "beginner drugs" (pot and cigarettes), but I knew spirtually it wasn't right, I think every teenager goes through a phase, not always involving drugs but just a stage of rebellion from what you've been taught, and before my parents or church friends got a hold of me, God got a hold of me, and really showed me that what I was doing is not what he wants for me, kicked my butt, comforted me and then with his help got my life back on the right track. Never got arrested or in trouble with the law, my parents didn't force me to stop(they never knew I was involved until afterwards). I know God has a plan for my life, and through his help I'll never go down that path again.
